Emily had asked Jay what his favorite breakfast is, and to our surprise, he said it was an omelet. (Seriously, we've been married for almost 12 years and this was news to me!) Emily and Abby helped me make him an omelet and some toast and put his tray altogether.Emily had coordinated a cup full of happy thoughts. She cut out and put together all sorts of little notes and asked each of us to write a note or two as well. She also put together a giant book of coupons for things she's willing to do for her dad.

We had to wake Jay up to celebrate him before his breakfast got cold. After a (somewhat) quiet and relaxing morning at home, it was off to church. The kids sang with all the Primary children and sounded beautiful.
Now we're home and relaxing together.
Happy father's day!
